Light Aviation restarts !

Dear all,

I am very pleased to inform you that the hard work of the Task Force Restart Light Aviation in Belgium obtained the restart of our activities as of 11 May 2020.

Discussions continued during the following weeks and a revision of the provisions was published on June 7 2020. Recent adaptations have been introduced after the CNS of July 27th.

All relevant information, dated July 30th, can be found on the website of our National Airspace Authority. You are welcome to download the pdf files (FR or NL versions)

A lot of efforts were needed to achieve this result and the members of the Task Force deserve credit for their hard work.  I am really happy to see how all our federations cooperated to this effort so that all the required information could be included in the discussions for the drafting group till the early hours of this morning. The conditions imposed for the restart are stringent and some of us will be disappointed. It will be a hard work for all of you to prepare for the restart and to comply with these new rules.

Thank you all for the assistance you provided in this collective effort.

Happy flying!
